The school occupies a substantial Victorian building in South Woodford, once a large private home. Over time the house has been adapted by us to accommodate classrooms, an I.C.T. lab, a library, dining facilities, changing rooms and offices.
In a separate building to the rear of the main house is our school hall, used for daily assembly and to provide a full programme of physical education, music, drama, games and other extra-curricular activities. The hall is in use by children of all ages continually throughout the day.
The Nursery and Reception department occupies a self-contained unit of two well-lit rooms with their own toilet facilities. A purpose built garden provides an outdoor space for play and practical activities for our youngest children and a hard play area is used by all the children during breaks and for outdoor actitvities.
For Juniors we use a sports centre for games and athletics and use Waltham Abbey swimming pool for weekly swimming lessons.
