Making Mistakes – Tuesday’s Assembly with Mr Curl

Mr Curl took the time in this morning’s assembly to explain that making mistakes is a good thing!

We too often think that ‘I can’t mess this up’ or, ‘if I make a mistake, I will fail’ but actually, making the mistakes is how we learn! Mr Curl explained to the school that it is “good to make mistakes – mistakes allow us to have a deeper understanding of what we are doing”.

Mr Curl then finished the assembly by saying that we should not be afraid of making mistakes, although something that may seem negative can often be of great help!
