Good Marks & Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day
Today, the whole school took part in a two minute silence at 11am, in honour and remembrance of those who lost their lives during the war. To start our Good Marks Assembly today, Mr Curl gave a prayer for Remembrance Day.
“Dear lord we pray for those who have given their lives in war and we pray for their families who have lost someone dear to them. We pray for a peaceful world. Amen”
Every year, the children take some time during art to make poppies or paintings in remembrance of those who lost their lives.
